East Norriton, Pennsylvania (Jan. 21, 2016) –  Joe Perpiglia of Plymouth Meeting is the Associated Builders and Contractors Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter’s new president and chief executive officer.

Perpiglia began with the Chapter in October 2011 as the Vice President of Member Services. He will manage daily activities of the chapter’s offices in East Norriton and Allentown and will further merit construction throughout the region.

“Since 1962 the members of ABC Eastern Pa. have been at the forefront of defending a simple philosophy, that construction awards should be based solely on merit, regardless of labor affiliation,” said Perpiglia. “It’s simply a way of doing business, built on free enterprise that is not always the normal course of business in our area. I look forward to working with our members, our leadership, business owners, developers and politicians to make this philosophy a reality in future.”

“Through Joe’s leadership and collaborative efforts with our Membership Committee, we have been able to grow our Chapter even through difficult economic times,” said Paul Ziegler, 2016 ABC Eastern Pa. Chapter chairman and Director of Construction Human Resources at Allan Myers. “I am confident that Joe will be a champion of the guiding principles of merit construction and free enterprise leading our Chapter to a successful future.”
