Allentown, Pa. – May 14, 2014- National Penn Bancshares, Inc. (Nasdaq: NPBC) announced today that Khristopher M. Gefroh has been named vice president and a relationship manager in its Commercial Banking group. He will report to William S. Proehl, senior vice president and Commercial Bank director- Lehigh Valley for the bank’s Northern Region.
Gefroh will be responsible for developing and maintaining new and existing commercial relationships throughout National Penn’s Northern Region which consists of Lehigh, Northampton, and Monroe Counties.
Gefroh, who resides in Allentown, has 16 years of financial service experience. Previously, he worked for Lafayette Ambassador Bank as a Commercial Loan relationship manager. Gefroh earned an associate’s degree from Indiana Bible College and has completed the Pennsylvania Bankers Association School of Commercial Lending program. He is active in the community as a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley. He serves as secretary of the executive board and is also a member of the finance committee.
