Bethlehem, PA – April 17, 2017 – The Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Lehigh Valley’s second annual Italian Festival on Saturday June 17th, from 12pm – 8pm.  Come for a taste of Italy in Downtown Bethlehem with authentic Italian music, art, artisan vendors, food and wine!

The Bethlehem Italian Festival builds on last year’s fantastic event, highlighted by a Wine Trail, with 14 wines to sample all  curated by South Italy Imports. The Bethlehem based South Italy Imports, is an exclusive importer of unique Italian wines, focusing on bringing in the indigenous grape varietals from every region of Italy.

The wine trail will quench your thirst, and the Italian food trail will satisfy your hunger! The Italian Food Trail will offer samples of  dishes throughout the restaurants in the Downtown. Participating restaurants include The Brick, Tapas on Main, Twisted Olive, Colony Meadery and more.

While you dine and drink, enjoy the fantastic music lineup that includes the Trouble City All-Stars, Cunningham & Associates, Sunshine Symphony and more!

As you stroll through the Festival take in the work of artists making art live during the event, while being serenaded by our wandering street musicians! Check out the Italian car show and meet actor and singer Gianni Russo who played Carlo Rizzi in The Godfather!

Event organizer, Lynn Cunningham, VP of Bethlehem Initiatives for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, shares “In the late 1800’s and early 1900’s, Bethlehem experienced a considerable influx of Italian immigrants. The impact on our culture through food, the arts and business has been significant. With this festival, we are celebrating the influence the Italians have had on not only Bethlehem but the United States. I’ll be proudly hailing my grandfather’s heritage on June 17th!”

Wine Trail Passports ($30 in advance; $35  after June 14th) and Italian Food Trail Passports ($15) will be available for purchase starting on April 17th. Purchase passports in advance throughEventbrite.com. Day of ticket sales are not guaranteed.
