Dining outdoors at The Settlers Inn is a summer tradition in the Lake Region of the Pocono Mountains. The beautifully restored Craftsman lodge on Hawley, PA’s Main Avenue hosts its weekly “Jazz on the Deck” series every Wednesday, from 6 to 9 PM, rain or shine. There is no cover charge. Select Friday and Sunday shows are also planned.
The Settlers’ covered deck makes every gathering comfortable no matter the weather. Guests can dine on the deck near the band with views of the lush gardens. Reservations are recommended for this option. Or, there are lawn tables with cocktail and snack service.
“Jazz on the Deck” begins Wednesday, July 1 with The Gypsy Jazz Quintet, and continues through September 6 with funky sounds and fabulous food and drinks.
“It’s the perfect way to see the hottest jazz musicians in one of the coolest local settings,” says Settlers Inn Proprietor Jeanne Genzlinger. “Our gardens are spectacular this year.”
