CLOSES OUT THE FESTIVAL
Mountainhome, PA — April 18, 2016 — The Buck Hill Skytop Music Festival, a summer concert series dedicated to “bringing world class artists up close and musical” to its audiences in the Pocono Mountains, is pleased to announce their lineup for the seventh season, July 29- August 7, 2016. Led by Artistic Director, Joey Chancey, this exciting season is comprised of award winning performances and incredible musical acts.
The Festival opens with Broadway’s finest performers in concert with full orchestra; The Hot Sardines, “one of the best jazz bands in NY today” (Forbes Magazine); a Grammy award winning Chamber String Quartet, The Harlem Quartet; Carmina Burana direct from Lincoln Center with The National Chorale; a new musical, Catch the Wind written by Daniel Larson and Michelle Elliott in
association with the graduate writing program at Tisch School of the Arts at NYU; and finally closing the festival with Tony award nominee Tony Yazbeck and his tour de force performance in The Floor Above Me.
