Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania Helps Consumers Manage Health Care Information “On the Go”

Northeastern, PA – Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania (BCNEPA) recently launched a mobile self-service app to help members manage their health care information anytime, anywhere on an iPhone, iPad or Android-supported smart phone or tablet.

Members who register for the self-service tools available on www.bcnepa.com can now access those features through a personal wireless device using a secure login that protects their information.

Users of the new mobile self-service app can view a comprehensive listing of their benefits, including deductibles and coinsurance for preventive, emergency, inpatient and outpatient services.

Additional features of the mobile self-service app allow users to check pharmacy benefit information, claims activity, manage dependent accounts (for those under 18 years old), view and send electronic ID cards and find contact information and directions for doctors they’ve recently seen.

Users who are enrolled in a health incentive plan through their employer can also display current health incentive information.
