First Friday in Slatington to Celebrate Earth Day

Earth Day Every Day is the theme for First Friday in downtown Slatington this Friday, April 7 from 4 – 8 p.m.First Friday is a local promotion designed to get residents out and about on Main Street Slatington.

Pick up your Earth Day Every Day First Friday Passport at the Slatington Public Library on Friday April 7th, then, visit participating businesses and enter a drawing to win a bike from Walmart of Lehighton (available 4/7/17 only).

Other participating promotions include; Dan Kunkle from the Lehigh Gap Nature Center will speak at 4 p.m. at the Slatington Public Library. Light refreshments for guests; Blue Mountain Farm Market – potted plants and fresh greens; Rhythm & Sole Dance Studio – Spring dance and drums; Local organic faire dinner selections at Charlotte Fay’s Main Street Diner with live music; Slatington Marketplace repurposing demo and more may be added!

A list of participating businesses will be available at the Slatington Library on Friday April 7.
