The Chamber Recaps the Card Exchange, Open House & Ribbon Cutting at Dorchester House Antiques

Hawley, PA – The Chamber of the Northern Poconos thanks those who came to Dorchester House Antiques for an Old Time Christmas Display and Business Card Exchange Friday, December 9th.

Owners Thom and Lynn Morrow were wonderful hosts, and attendees enjoyed the evening amidst the enchanting holiday setting.  The Chamber encourages everyone to stop in to experience a unique and wonderful shopping experience.  “Our focus for advertising and social media is on setting an elegant table…..for the holidays and all the peripheral items needed for entertaining. I’ve been buying vintage sets of dinnerware, glassware, silver serving pieces, art glass decanter sets, etc.”, says Thom Morrow, proprietor.

Dorchester House Antiques is Lake Wallenpaupack’s newest retail venue for antiques and decorative arts, located at 210 Welwood Ave, in Hawley. They celebrate American and world cultures through vintage furniture, textiles, porcelains & pottery, artwork and household items. The collections include 18th to 20th century furniture, art pottery, local glass, original art, vintage weaponry, ethnic arts and many other areas of interest.  They stock a large collection of Chinese antiquities, dating as far back as the Neolithic Period through the Classical eras until the early 20th century. Their assemblage of porcelain & pottery, jade and bronze is unique in our area and not usually found outside of larger urban areas.
