MetroAction and Pocono Mountains Economic Development Corporation Partner to Provide Business Success Seminar

Tobyhanna, PA – MetroAction has partnered with the Pocono Mountains Economic Development Corporation (PMEDC) to provide an informative seminar designed to take the mystery out developing a successful small business. Five Steps to Business Success will be held on Tuesday, February 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the PMEDC, 300 Community Drive, Suite D, Pocono Mountains Corporate Center East, Tobyhanna.

“Five Steps to Business Success reviews the steps needed to develop a successful business and provides links to valuable resources to help grow a business,” according to Christina Hitchcock, MetroAction business development administrator. “Participants will receive quick and easy tips for writing a business plan, and recommendations on how to use the plan to identify specific business objectives while charting and managing growth.”

Participants will learn how small business loans work, what documents and information are needed for start-up, and reviews the requirements to qualify for small business financing. In addition, information will be provided about small business grants, what lenders look for, and how to improve chances of qualifying for a small business loan. This seminar is ideal for all business types, including retail, wholesale, hospitality, agricultural, child care providers, technology, and manufacturing.
