ARC Grant check presentation to Lackawanna College

The Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance (NEPA) and Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED) presented Lackawanna College with a $50,000 Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) grant. This project was submitted for ARC funding by the NEPA Alliance and the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, Office of Appalachian Development, who recommended approval to ARC.

ARC funding was used for the purchase of equipment such as a natural gas convention oven, reach-in refrigerator, reach-in freezer, steam jacketed kettle, all-purpose mixer, etc.

The NEPA Alliance, a regional community and economic development agency, serves the seven counties of Northeastern Pennsylvania including Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Schuylkill and Wayne. NEPA Alliance services include Business Financing, Government Contracting Assistance, International Trade Assistance, Non Profit Assistance, Transportation Planning, Research and Information, and Local Government Services.
