Tannersville, PA — Ready, set, quack! Rubber ducks will be floating to the finish line on Sunday, Aug. 15, in a fun race at Camelbeach to benefit United Way of Monroe County.

The event kicks off at 2 p.m. at the Blue Nile Adventure River at Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark in Tannersville. Rubber duckies are just $10 each and everyone has a chance to win a grand prize. Plus, everyone who buys a duck will receive a SWAG bag filled with items from area attractions, restaurants and stores.

Ducks can be purchased on Aug. 15 or at www.unitedwaymonroe.org before the race. (You don’t have to be present to win.) All proceeds will go to the United Way of Monroe County’s 2010 campaign.

“We hope everyone will come out and have some fun by cheering on their duck or ducks,” said Campaign Chair Pat Ross. “Besides the race, they can enjoy all of the great waterslides and activities that Camelbeach has to offer.”

Discount Camelbeach tickets for that day and any day through Sept. 6 can be purchased at www.camelbeach.com. Purchasers will save $7 per ticket just by entering code UNITED10, and $3 of each ticket will go back to the United Way. However, this offer is only good until Aug. 15.
