Tannersville, PA – Seniors across Monroe County are encouraged to attend a Senior Expo held by Reps. Mario Scavello (R-Monroe) and Rosemary M. Brown (R-Monroe/Pike) on Monday, July 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Pocono Mountain East Senior High School, Pocono Mountain School Road in Swiftwater.
“This annual event has become a wonderful opportunity for our senior citizens, their families and caregivers to explore the services and opportunities available in our area at one convenient location,” said Scavello. “The list of exhibitors keeps growing as we try to provide as much information as we can for the people we represent.”
“Senior citizens, their families and caregivers will have an opportunity to gather information on and check out the services available from a number of senior-oriented businesses in our area,” Brown said. “Light refreshments will also be available, and admission to the event is free.”
More than 70 exhibitors will attend and provide free information to participants, as well as free health screenings and workshops. Attendees will also have a chance to win one of 25 free lottery tickets, and will receive a free ePower energy kit if they bring their PPL bill.
