A free workshop on how and why to clean your home and body without harsh chemicals on May 23rd at 7:00 PM at the Park Street Complex, 648 Park Street, Honesdale PA, (near Wayne Memorial Hospital).
Could your cleaning routine be making you sick? Learn what products are not healthy for your family and how to make your own supplies with natural ingredients for less than store-bought products.
Carl J. Milks, MD, board-certified allergist, will discuss how products we use (even some “natural” ones) can adversely affect our health. He will also teach us how to decipher ingredient lists on everyday products, without the need for a degree in chemistry.
Janet Brown, founder of Green Leaf Cleaning Partners, will share her non-toxic cleaning recipes and tips with a direct focus on sustainability. For those who are interested, she will have green cleaning kits for sale at cost.
