Operation Chillout

The homeless Veterans in the local area will be the beneficiaries of a concert by film and television personality Robb Taylor. The Halloween fundraiser is dedicated to helping homeless Vets in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. “As winter approaches, these men, who have given so much for us, will have no shelter, no blanket and certainly no Christmas. They will have to dig through trash for food. This is completely and totally unacceptable. If their lives were not taken, their lives are in ruin because of the sacrifice they made for us,” says Taylor.  The Robb Taylor Band will perform for the Operation Chillout benefit at Petrizzo’s Restaurant at 6171 Milford Road in East Stroudsburg on October the 31st. Showtime is 7pm. “The purpose of this benefit is to honor our veterans for their service to this great country. They serve tirelessly and receive very little in return,” says Robert Pidi of the Powerthouse #1 Corporation, one of the show’s hosts. The band will be performing songs from the Ramblin’ On, Hourglass and Dream Catcher CDs. They have performed with Chubby Checker, Taylor Hicks, Charlie Daniels, and Jerry Lee Lewis to name a few. Other musical performances will follow after 8:30 pm. Operation Chillout is a 501C3 homeless Veterans’ outreach organization that holds many fundraising events.
