Pocono TreeVentures, aerial adventure ropes course located in the Pocono Mountains with 66 elements and five courses, is celebrating fall by once again hosting Hallowscream Nights every Saturday night beginning September 26 through Halloween. Gina Bertucci, spokesperson for TreeVentures said, “Hallowscream Nights have been expanding each year. This year, we have hired a haunt specialist to design, build and supervise the scare experience of our Haunted Hay Ride. Combine it with a night in the trees zip lining and climbing and this is a haunted experience like no other in the region.” $39 combo tickets include the Haunted Hay Ride, pumpkin painting, scary movies under the stars shown against Haunted Hollow barn, zip lining and tree climbing with headlamps in the dark. Individual tickets are also available.
The 20 minute Haunted Hay Ride takes guests around Pocono TreeVentures through scary scenes that feature haunted characters, live actors and things that go bump in the night. Bertucci continues, “For a great evening of fun start with spending time in the ropes course and the fast new dual racing zip lines in the dark with their own scary features. It is a unique experience during the day, at night it is even better. Then paint a pumpkin, take the Haunted Hay Ride for some screaming fun, then set up your lawn chair or bring a blanket to watch a scary movie. Hallowscream Nights are perfect for anyone who likes to spend time outdoors mixed with Halloween fun. Being able to climb through the trees and zip line make it unique to any other Halloween scare experiences.”
TreeVentures contains courses made of platforms constructed at various levels in the trees that are connected by different types of bridges that represent obstacles. Participants maneuver from platform to platform wearing a safety harness. It is located on Route 209 in Bushkill, PA on the property of The Villas at Tree Tops and Fairway® and Fernwood Resort. Pocono TreeVentures is open from noon to dusk Thursdays, Fridays and Mondays, 10:00 am to dusk Sundays and holidays throughout the fall and into December weather permitting. Saturdays from September 26 through Halloweek Pocono TreeVentures will be open from 10:00 am to midnight.
