The Chamber of the Northern Poconos Annual Membership Meeting & Luncheon

The annual membership meeting and luncheon for The Chamber of the Northern Poconos will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Ladore Lodge & Conference Center, 398 South Street, Waymart.  Join in the ‘meet and greet’ with local and state legislators at 11:15 am.  The luncheon buffet will follow at Noon.

The membership is invited to enjoy an informative meeting and a fantastic menu consisting of buffet items including tossed salad w/assorted dressings, Italian Baked Chicken, Baked Honey Pit Ham, Homestyle Mashed Potatoes, Chef Cut Vegetables, assorted hot & cold beverages, fresh hot rolls w/butter, and assorted pies for dessert.

Attendees will hear from guest speakers Troy Bystrom and Mary Beth Wood of the Wayne Economic Development Corporation (WEDCO).  The topic will be the economic impact and technology at The Stourbridge Project.  What is the Stourbridge Project? Well, it can simply be a new place to work in Wayne County or it can be much more.  At the heart of this endeavor is a community willing to build its future, support its young professionals, and foster “home grown” businesses.  Attendees will also hear an update on Chamber initiatives, events, and progress.
