Wilkes University to Host MBA Open House on Dec. 5


Attendees can receive an instant admissions decision

Wilkes University will host an open house from 9 to 11 a.m. on Sat., Dec. 5 for adults interested in pursuing their MBA. The open house takes place at 169 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre. Free parking is available at the rear of the building. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Coffee and refreshments will be served.

Attendees who would like an instant admissions decision are asked to bring their undergraduate transcripts. Prospective students can meet one-on-one with admissions staff to discuss the application process.

Faculty members will address the program’s emphasis on leadership development. Current students will discuss the life/school balance and answer commonly asked questions. Tours of the business school’s new facility will be provided.

The Wilkes MBA can be completed on a full- or part-time basis. Classes are held in evenings, or once every third weekend. Students can take classes on the Wilkes-Barre campus or in the Poconos at the Wilkes University Pocono Center, located at The Shoppes at Crossroads on State Route 611 in Bartonsville, Pa.

A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is accepted for admission. Tuition is $822 per credit and financial aid is available to those who qualify. Wilkes offers tuition deferment to students whose employers reimburse the cost of their degree.

The Wilkes MBA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.
