Turning Heads Unisex Barber Shop is now open on Crystal Street in East Stroudsburg. Michael White, owner of Turning Heads Unisex Barber Shop, has been in the Barber Shop business for 29 years. White’s first shop, Ice Machine Barber Shop, was located in Baltimore Maryland. “I have always had an interest in fashion and grooming,” said White, “I want to move to the next level as not only nice haircut at a Barber Shop but a living social environment where people can feel comfortable.”
Turning Heads Unisex Barber Shop has two other Barbers, Mike Szerling and Pawel Zielinski, who both attended Lehigh Valley Barber School. “About 7 years ago I got involved in cutting hair,” said Szerling, “I went from cutting my friends hair in my basement and ever since it has evolved more into a hobby that I love to do.” Pawel Zielinski has been involved in cutting hair for 5 years, and sees it as an artistic outlet where he feels himself.
“At Turning Heads we want to be involved in the local community,” said White. Turning Heads Unisex Barber Shop offers 2$ off for all local Police Officers and local Firefighters. They also have ESU Thursdays where any ESU student with a valid ESU ID can receive 2$ off on every Thursday.
