About Penn’s Northeast

Penn’s Northeast is a public/private partnership of agencies dedicated to attracting and assisting quality employers to Northeastern Pennsylvania. The organization serves as the single point of contact for businesses looking to expand or relocate to NEPA and is the liaison between their partners, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the local communities.

Serving Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe and Wayne Counties, Penn’s Northeast was created through a joint effort of private business leaders, local utility companies, governments, economic development organizations, and chambers of commerce to market the collective assets of the region and to facilitate the creation and retention of quality jobs. This is accomplished by providing site selection and incentive financing assistance to businesses, real estate brokers, developers and site selection consultants.
