The 12th Annual Chefs United Dinner was held on Wednesday October, 21st 2015 at the Inn at Woodloch! The event began with a cocktail hour at 5:30 followed by dinner at 7pm.  The evening showcased Chefs from the finest area restaurants who prepared their restaurant specialties for everyone to enjoy. To assist in raising money we held a raffle, 50/50 and silent auction. All proceeds collected that evening benefited the United Way of Pike County.

“We were thrilled that Woodloch was once again our sponsor for our Annual Chefs United Benefit Dinner. Woodloch is a huge supporter of the United Way and the community at large. We are very grateful to the Kiesendahl family for hosting this event at their beautiful Woodloch Pines Resort. I also extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the 175 attendees, chefs and restaurants that participated in this very special fundraiser. This year we raised a little over $10,000 which will help our local human services agencies”. said Matt Osterberg, UWPC President.

When asked about how the event went, Patrick Kiesendahl, Woodloch Social Director and Woodloch Owner had this to say, “The best thing about the Chefs United Benefit Dinner is that everyone here tonight is supporting the United Way of Pike County and that this evening we will be raising money for our local human service agencies. These agencies in-turn help our friends and neighbors in need.  With the current economic situation, many residents need our help now more than ever. I’m proud with the turnout and the amount of money that the United Way of Pike County raised at this event and look forward to hosting this event next year.

“Every year the United Way recognizes either a business or an individual for all the hard work that they put into helping the United Way. This year we recognized our very own board member, Debbi Tereschak. This year Debbi helped the United Way raise over $10,000, she sold over 20 tickets to the Chef’s United Dinner. She out did herself and she really made herself stand out”. said Matt Osterberg, UWPC President.
