Breakout Sessions for PoconoWomen’s Conference announced!

The May 7th PoconoWomen’s Spring conference is blooming! The breakout session leaders are finalized and we are ready to unfold the best conference yet!

Conference Highlights / Pick Two! The selection of sessions allows you to choose which two topics you would be most interested in learning more about as the conference educates and nourishes your soul:

  1. “Successfully Reinvesting in your Business”– Holley Kearns, Branch Mgr of KNBT Bank in Stroudsburg and Nicole O’Malley of Morgan Stanley Investments will join hands and hand out some sound financial advice for small business owners getting the most out of their business plans.
  2. “Embrace Giving” –How to Embrace a Charity — Maryanne Heeter, Senior Funds Development officer from Farr-Healy will offer some tips for a safe and rewarding charitable giving experience. So many charities, so few dollars – which one is right for my business?
  3. “Embracing Your Personal Brand” — Marketing tips from Meg Watt – our in – house marketing guru, will help us understand how building a brand and pushing it forward will help our businesses bloom!
  4. Craniosacral Therapy –David Christine, CST, will be demonstrating — this is light touch modality that mobilizes the energy of the central nervous system to stimulate the body’s  natural healing ability. Craniosacral therapy may help with  many problems including: Chronic Neck and Back Pain, Migraine Headaches, Stress and Tension-Related Problems and more.

Keynote Speaker is Rachel Moyer, Director of AED Placement & Advocacy Programs for the Gregory W. Moyer Fund. Rachel’s keynote will inspire all of us as we listen to her tragic-turned-pro-active response to the untimely death of her son from cardiac arrest. Her work in “Letting the beat go on” has resulted in new legislation that has undoubtedly saved many untold lives. Let’s be inspired by this local woman who has done so much for our community and for communities across the nation!

A champagne brunch will be served, followed by a Boss Chef demo of a dazzling dessert to help cap off the day’s festivities. Red Carpet interviews will take donations for the Helping Hands Food Pantry of Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church. Door prizes, networking, massages,and shopping from local vendors and more!
