Stroudsburg, PA (October 19, 2010) — There are a few spots left for Baehr Family Financial’s free workshop, “Socially Responsible and Faith Based Investing,” on October 21 at 7 pm at its 742 Ann Street, Stroudsburg, PA location.  The workshop is the October offering in the Everyday Money series, an educational outreach of Baehr Family Financial.  Participants will receive information about investments that support green activities, positive corporate cultures, and those that screen out objectionable activities.  Learn how to screen investments yourself, and even how to invest in the business ventures of Third World entrepreneurs.

We may not be able to single handedly solve the energy crisis or put corrupt companies out of business, but we DO have a vote with our wallets.  This is a strictly educational workshop- no sales pitches or hidden agendas.

Reservations are required, as space is limited.  For more information or to reserve a spot at the workshop, call 800-520-9793, or email your reservation to info@baehrfinancial.com.

Baehr Family Financial is a fee only financial planning firm in Stroudsburg, PA and Randolph NJ providing services by the hour, project, or retainer.  The Everyday Money workshops are held each third Thursday evening of the month.  Next topics are “Taming the Holiday Spending Monster,” on October 21, and “Tax Traps and Tax Gifts,” on January 20 (no class in December).
