Milford, PA – Cellular One of Northeast Pike County representatives Rita Lowry and Erwin Guberman presented a donation in the amount of $1,500 to The Center for Developmental Disabilities for the programs and services CDD provides for children with disabilities of Pike County.

“Cellular One of Northeast Pennsylvania has been an active supporter of The Center for Developmental Disabilities and we are grateful for their continuous contributions that enable us to continue to grow and provide our services.  As cuts continue to be made on both the state and federal levels to many of our educational and therapeutic services, we rely more heavily on partnerships such as these within our community,” stated Executive Director Ann Gillerlane.

CDD is expanding their programs at their 101 Pocono Drive location to include an expansion to their Cornerstone Program serving children with autism and in addition is opening their services  to the community with an early learning academy program called Stepping Stones which will begin in September 2012.  Ongoing projects also include the installation of their Discovery Garden which includes an outdoor classroom recently installed at the center.

The Center for Developmental Disabilities provides programs and services to children ages birth to five years old.  In addition, CDD Pediatric Therapy Clinic located onsite is now providing outpatient services.  For more information on any of our services and programs or to take a tour contact 570-296-3992.
