Milford, PA – Cellular One of Northeast Pennsylvania granted a charitable donation of $3,000 to The Center for Developmental Disabilities of Pike County, Ltd. (CDD) on June 3. This contribution will help fund CDD’s innovative educational and therapeutic programs for children with developmental disabilities, and allow CDD to continue providing many children with the services they need to learn basic motor and communication skills.

Cellular One of Northeast Pennsylvania is the most extensive cellular network provider in the Wayne/Pike region. Headquartered in Honesdale with 31 employees, the company learned about Pike County’s Center for Developmental Disabilities at its 12th Annual Chef’s Do Dinner held this past March. “After attending the annual event and seeing their slideshow presentation, I was thoroughly blown away. I presented it to our people to say we needed to become a part of the important work that CDD does,” says Erwin Guberman, sales manager for Cellular One of NEPA.

For more than 40 years, the Center for Developmental Disabilities of Pike County, Ltd. has provided educational, therapeutic, and family support services for children with developmental delays and disabilities from birth to kindergarten age.  Over the years, CDD has evolved into a multi-disciplinary program that currently provides early educational services to over 200 families in Pike County.
