Honesdale, PA – The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, ChamberChoice, and Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania are committed to promoting and encouraging healthy living. Offering a workplace wellness program provides your employees with a solution to the nagging pressure of eating better and living healthier lifestyles. A person is more likely to engage in wellness activities in a group setting such as the workplace.
To recognize local businesses who are dedicated to wellness, we are hosting our 5th Annual Healthy Workplace Awards program. If you know a company offering wellness options to their employees, including your own, nominate the company for the Wellness Initiative Award by completing the nomination form. Regional winners will be chosen in two categories – companies with 1 to 49 employees and companies with 50 or more employees. The nominees will be evaluated based on their wellness program strengths, results, and creativity. The awards will be presented at the Chamber’s Community Awards Dinner on October 6, 2011.
