Pike Wedding Program “Unveiled”

The Pike County Chamber of Commerce has just launched a wedding promotion program at its networking and chocolate event in late March at the Tom Quick Inn. A surprise grand entrance was made by the “bride” who was elegantly dressed in a wedding gown and escorted into the ballroom by the new Chamber Wedding Ambassador James Campistrous, to “Here comes the Bride” music. The bride, portrayed by Anne Kristen Priebe, officially “unveiled” the Pike Chamber’s “Weddings in Pike” program, which will promote local wedding venues, services and products to both local and outreach areas. “Pike County is an incredibly beautiful destination that has many unique venues to get married,” says Danielle Jordan, Executive Director and newly-minted CEO of the Pike County Chamber of Commerce. A new Web site section with local wedding information and tips was created on www.pikechamber.com by the Chamber’s Web designers Eric and Andrea Kimes of Web Leaps. The Milford Journal helped to brand the program and photography was provided by Tom Duncan.
