Milford, PA – The winners of the free booth at the Community Expo & Car Show 2011 are Charlie & Teresa Lutz representing Primerica Financial Services located on 311 E. Harford Street in Milford, PA. All of the names of the companies and organizations that had registered before April 15th were entered in a drawing to win the free booth donated by one of the Expo Gold Sponsors – The Milford Journal. The Lutz’s will get their booth fee refunded back to them so they can put it back into their company.

Other sponsors include Wayne Memorial Hospital, Pike County Light & Power, Bon Secours Community Hospital and the Pike County Dispatch.

The Community Expo & Car Show will be held on May 21st at the Delaware Valley School’s grade 9-10 cafeteria & gym. There is FREE admission to the public from 11:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. Attendees can visit more than 55 vendors with a “Go Green Theme” representing various businesses, civic & non-profit organizations, restaurants, artisans and more. The area people and local consumers are encouraged to attend so come out with the entire family to this wonderful neighborhood event to collect valuable information and meet and see the many area businesses and organizations that make up this wonderful community we live and work in.

At the Expo you can also participate in a 50/50 raffle, other top raffle prizes including dinners for two at Woodloch, gas cards, and an overnight stay at your choice of Cove Haven facilities. There will be displays, demonstrations and check out the Classic Antique Car/Truck Show featuring a Chevy Volt from McGuire’s Chevy in Newton, NJ, a hybrid vehicle from Pike County Light & Power and special guest – the KITT car from the 1980’s show Knight Rider. Be sure to cast your vote on who you think should win the top overall car prize! Kids and adults alike can have a fun time singing and dancing along with DJ Joe, getting their face painted and being entertained by “Lucky the Hobo” and his balloon masterpieces. “Lucky” says, “it’s not all skill, it takes a touch of magic and a lotta love”. Food and refreshments will be available to purchase also.

Lisa Alexander who is an international authority & local celebrity on sustainable living and green building and sought after expert appearing on many major TV networks such as HGTV will be our very special guest. Lisa is also the Founder & CEO of Green Life Inc. a company committed to educating the public on how to live healthier more sustainable, practical “Green” lives.
