Downtown Halloween in Stroudsburg on Saturday, October 30th


Stroudsburg, PA – The Jacob Stroud Corporation presents a FREE Downtown Halloween Children’s Parade on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 1:00 pm.

Children and their parents will assemble for the parade at 12:30 pm. at the YMCA, 809 Main Street (next to Dunkin Donuts) The parade will step off promptly at 1:00 pm. Children will be marching on the sidewalks, traveling down Main Street, crossing over Main and returning back at the YMCA.

Families can complete their day with a Halloween Party at the YMCA from 2:00 until 5:00 pm.

The Pocono YMCA is hosting a Halloween Spooktacular with an afternoon filled with carnival games, prizes, swimming, rock climbing, belly bumpers and pumpkin decorating. There will also be a costume contest for all ages. Cost per child is $7.00. Adults and children 3 and under are FREE. Refreshments included consist of apple wedges with caramel, popcorn and juice
