Stroudsburg, PA –Downtown Stroudsburg will be hosting the 2nd Annual Ice Festival during President’s Weekend on Saturday, February 19th. On Saturday, February 19th there will be an ice carving demonstration at noon on the corner of 7thand Main, 700 Main Street, that will join the numerous other sculptures many of our businesses are getting.
There will be amazing three dimensional ice sculptures displayed throughout Downtown Stroudsburg in front of many of the great stores on Main Street. Be sure to watch the live ice carving demonstration right on Main Street. Watch the ice flying as a creation is made right in front of you, while snacking on some delicious roasted nuts, hot cocoa or hot apple cider provided by Dutch Valley Confections.
In celebration of this winter event, many of the Downtown stores will be having specials and sales. Enjoy the roaming surprise of a sculpture of handcrafted balloon creations and FREE SNOW CONES at Grandpa Pete’s Bagels at 548 Main Street all day!
Kitchen Chemistry, 733 Main Street, will be featuring special cupcake flavors such as Blue Ice and Hot Cocoa all day, as well as a free demonstration of making Mozzarella cheese at 1PM. There will also be “make and takes” throughout the day…. Participants will decorate a cookie or create a chocolate shell!
