Prima Elite Academy of Dance Announces Studio Awards at First Competition

Scranton, PA – Prima Elite Academy of Dance a leading dance studio in Scranton, PA, is pleased to announce their studio awards for their first competition this year at Dancers Inc. Scranton Regional Competition held at the Mountain Laurel Resort, White Haven, PA. In their second year, the studio participated at the competition with 13 students and was awarded three regional champion title awards, a number of top overall awards, and many student medals of the competition. Dancers Inc. is a leader in the dance competition/convention industry and the completion was part of their national circuit. The studio will be attending Dancers Inc. National Finals & MSA/OnTour Intensive in Poconos, PA in July.

Student medals are as follows: Lucia Dudziec, Moosic, Regional Champion Title, 3rd and 8th overall, elite and high gold; Maeve Ludka, Clarks Summit, Regional Champion Title, 2nd and 4th overall: 2 elites and high gold; Bobbi-Rose Smith, Scranton, Regional Champion Title, 3rd overall and elite; Nodiya Defreitas, Scranton, Prestigious Elite; Bella Nardone, Moosic, elite: 2nd overall; Aaliyah Defreitas, Scranton, 3rd overall, 2 elites; Ashlin Brody-Walega, Pringle, elite, high gold, 5th overall; Reagan Martin high gold, Maya Terbovich high gold; Riley Pica, gold; Bella Diana, high gold; Jaiden Brody-Walega, high gold; Mariel Curra, gold.

Trios: Bobbi-Rose Smith, Jazmin DeFreitas, Bella Diana: elite, 2nd overall; Reagan Martin, Duryea, Maya Terbovich and  Riley Pica, of Taylor, high gold.

Duos: Mariel Curra, Bella Nardone, high gold, 1st overall; Ashlin and Jaiden Brody-Walega, high gold; Maeve Ludka and Aaliyah DeFreitas, high gold, Bella Diana and Jazmin DeFreitas, high gold.

Studio group dances: Breathe of Life: elite, 1st overall; Power of the dream, high gold, 1st overall; Star Wars cantina, high gold: 5th overall.

Prima Elite Academy of Dance is founded by Jennifer Griglock – a professional dancer and educated dance teacher. Their mission is to create an atmosphere where students express themselves through dance and find the passion and love for the art of dance.
