Raymond Ceccotti, Senior Vice President at The Honesdale National Bank, has been has been elected to serve a two year term as Chairman of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s Group 3, representing the eight counties in northeastern Pennsylvania. Groups within the state are defined by geography and play a significant role in the nominating process and grassroots efforts of the statewide association.
Mr. Ceccotti has 32 years of banking experience and is presently a Senior Vice President at HNB, specifically responsible for Branch Administration and Retail Banking. In addition to his responsibilities at HNB, Ceccotti is the President of the Advisory Board for the Devereux Pocono Center, President of the Metro Action Program, serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce, is a Board Member of the Capital Development Committee for the Valley Community Library, serves on the Scranton-Lackawanna Human Development (SLHDA) Coat Committee, and is a member of the UNICO Scranton Chapter.
The Pennsylvania Bankers Association, located in Harrisburg, is the state’s major banking trade association representing an expansive and diverse membership. The Association offers extensive continuing education programs, government relations representation on behalf of the industry, and provides numerous products and services for banks and their employees. The Honesdale National Bank, established in 1836, holds the distinction of being the area’s oldest independent community bank headquartered in Northeastern PA, with offices in Wayne, Pike, Susquehanna, Lackawanna and Luzerne Counties.
