STROUDSBURG, PA – June 25, 2010 – Once again proving that they are the top concert venue and show promoter in NEPA, the Sherman Theater is proud to announce a last-minute concert date with FURTHUR on Monday, July 5th.

Typically selling out venues with anywhere from 3000-15,000 capacity, this show with the world’s premier jam band will be an incredible concert in the Sherman Theater’s intimate setting.

For those not initiated with this jam band supergroup, FURTHUR is led by Grateful Dead members Phil Lesh (bass, vocals) and Bob Weir (guitar, vocals). As two of the members of one of the most influential rock groups of all time, Lesh and Weir have cultivated a rabid fanbase over 45 years of making music and relentless touring. They’re joined by John Kadlecik of the Dark Star Orchestra on guitar, Jeff Chimenti of RatDog on keyboards, and Joe Russo of the Benevento/Russo Duo on drums.

General admission tickets for this show are $39.50 and will go on sale to the general public this Saturday, June 26th, at 10:00am.
