East Stroudsburg, PA – Leadership Pocono welcomed its newest class with a Team Building Retreat weekend beginning with an evening session on Friday, September 7th at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort, followed by a day of physical challenges at Stony Acres on Saturday, September 8th. The weekend began with an ice breaker and team building exercise facilitated by Carol Sitroon of Monroe Career and Technical Institute followed by a workshop on communication and leadership styles facilitated by Victoria Mavis of Core People Resources. The retreat weekend continued at Stony Acres on Saturday with various rope challenge courses.
Leadership Pocono’s Class of 2013, consisting of 18 new participants representing local businesses, non-profit organizations, and government entities, will complete an intense ten-month local leadership program.
