POCONO PINES, PA – State representative Mario M. Scavello, 176th District, joined 200 guests, including 150 homeowners, at Blanche Price Park, Pocono Pines, Sunday, August 18th, to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Liberty Homes, Pocono Lake, an award winning home builder of the greater Poconos.
The old-fashioned summer picnic featured sizzling premise-made smoked chicken and ribs, plus plenty of Americana fare and fun, with a bounty of raffle prizes, photos ops, cake, and a piñata for the kids.
State Representative Scavello presented Liberty Homes principles, John Holahan, and Frank Repholz Jr., with a proclamation for 35 years in business. “Liberty Homes has persevered and maintained its edge through the housing downturn,” said Scavello.
More than building homes, homeowners spoke of the community that Liberty Homes has helped them build among new and seasoned friends. It was the third picnic Liberty Homes has held for its homeowners, and new home owner Joseph Sciabica, who is building a new Liberty Home with his fiancée Josie said, “The picnic is a great way to meet other people in the “family.’”
