Local Builders’ Association in NEPA Presents Building Industry Night

Wilkes-Barre, PA – The Pennsylvania Builders Association (PBA) has partnered with the local builders associations in Northeastern Pennsylvania to present an evening of homebuilding industry information and networking at the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. Individuals, companies and business owners who offer building services, products and materials to the homebuilding industry are encouraged to attend.

Representatives from the Building Industry Association of NEPA, Carbon Builders Association, Lackawanna Home Builders Association, Pike County Builders Association, Pocono Builders Association and the Wayne County Builders Association will be on hand to provide prospective members with the information necessary to become members of these local builders associations.  Attendees will also have the opportunity  to learn about many benefits of membership.

PBA’s Executive Vice President Lou Biacchi will serve as emcee for the event and speak about Pennsylvania’s Home Improvement Contractor registration law. Regulatory Specialist, Grant Gulibon, will speak briefly about industry regulation and Codes Specialist Jerry Leach will cover building codes.

The event will be held on Tuesday, April 5 from 6 – 8 p.m. (registration begins at 5:30 p.m.) at the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, 1280 Highway 315, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
