It might be several seasons away, but in celebration of November 11th’s National Philanthropy Day, the Pocono Mountains Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) will honor the top pros in the field in a special event. Nominations are now being accepted for several categories:
Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy
Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser
Outstanding Corporation
Outstanding Fundraising Group
Outstanding Foundation
Outstanding Fundraising Executive
Outstanding Philanthropist
The awards dinner will be held at Stroudsmoor’s Lawnhaven from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on November 11, 2010. Previous awardees from the Pocono community include Maryanne Heeter (Fundraising Executive); Chuck Hannig (Volunteer Fundraiser); Pocono Mountain Community Fundraiser (Fundraising Group); and Drs. Joseph and Rose Mattioli (Lifetime Achievement Award).
