
The Northeastern Pa Community Resource Center – (NEPA-CRC), a Division of Lehigh Valley Community Resource Center, Inc. based in Emmaus, Pa, today announced its publication plans for a series of community resource directories for Monroe and Carbon counties. The organization will also provide free child Identification services in the region.
Emmaus, PA – The Northeastern Pa Community Resource Center – (NEPA-CRC) a division of the Lehigh Valley Community Resource Center, Inc., (LVCRC) a 501(c)(3) charitable organization based in Emmaus, Pa, announced today that it will publish a series of community resource directories for families with children in the Monroe and Carbon County areas.
NEPA-CRC which publishes nine similar directories in the Lehigh Valley region plans on releasing the new directories in late summer of 2011. There will be a Carbon County edition as well as editions serving the East Stroudsburg/Stroudsburg areas and the Pocono Mountain/Pleasant Valley area.
The community resource guides will provide details on over 200 organizations that provide services to families with children in the region. The directories will focus on Arts & Culture, Education, General Family Services, Health & Safety and Sports & Recreation opportunities within each local community, as well as resources for children with Special Needs.
NEPA-CRC also announced that it will offer its Child ID Program throughout the region. NEPA-CRC will provide free Child ID services at venues throughout Monroe and Carbon counties. Sites and dates for these events will be available on the organization’s website, www.LVCRC.org.
