Pennstar Bank congratulates Pocono Alliance Service Award

Stroudsburg, PA – Pennstar Bank announced a $2,500 contribution to Pocono Alliance to support PoconoInfo: Monroe County’s Information and Referral Helpline. The donation is part of an initiative of Pennstar Bank to reinvest into the community.

Are you tired of spending precious minutes and hours contacting agency after agency to find the right service option for your needs? Then your next call should be to PoconoInfo. PoconoInfo is your first stop shop for Human Service information in Monroe County.

PoconoInfo’s information & referral helpline has been linking individuals and human service agencies since 2004. PoconoInfo has a database of over 850 services available to Monroe County residents. With a simple phone call to PoconoInfo (570-517-3954), residents can speak to a call specialist who will help them search for services such as local food pantries, consumer advocacy/debt services, veteran affairs, prescription assistance and many other programs. The call specialist will then provide contact information and program details for these services to help clients find the help they need faster. This valuable information service is free for all Monroe County residents.
