East Stroudsburg, PA – Pocono Medical Center (PMC) demonstrated its commitment to exceptional patient care by partnering with TeamHealth, one of the nation’s leading providers of Emergency Department and Hospital Medicine staffing and management services. Under this integrated arrangement, TeamHealth will manage a core group of community-based emergency physicians who will be dedicated to providing world-class care, close to home. There will be many familiar faces in both PMC’s emergency room and in the hospital. We are pleased that the majority of the existing emergency and hospitalist physicians have chosen to remain with TeamHealth, providing continuity of service and an ongoing commitment to the community.

A core team of hospitalist physicians will be responsible for managing the inpatient care of patients admitted to the hospital.
