Pocono Mountains Announces New Black Friday Promotion

Pocono Mountains, PA – The Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau (PMVB) is proud to announce the first year of its Black Friday Deals promotion. In order to take advantage of the ever-increasing trend of Black Friday shoppers, the program was developed to allow consumers to save on area attractions, dining and lodging facilities in time for the holiday season.

Overall, more than 20 members are offering savings only bookable on Friday, November 26 from 8 a.m. through 8 p.m. Deals include percentages off, bonus gift cards, free items and more. A full listing of the offers can be found at www.800poconos.com/blackfridaydeals.

“We have found that around this time of year, consumers are looking for deals and discounts,” said Carl Wilgus, PMVB president and CEO. “We decided to give them what they want and allow people to give the gift of travel this holiday season.”

Outside of the www.800poconos.com website, the campaign will be promoted through various channels including the Bureau’s mobile website, social media outlets and mobile text message community.
