PPL Supports Workforce Wayne’s Mission

PPL recently presented a $2,500 check to Workforce Wayne as an investment in its current year sustainability campaign.

Honesdale, PA – Pictured with participants in Workforce Wayne’s Green CareerLinking Academy for Wayne and Pike County adults who are interested in green careers such as energy assessment, renewable energy, and energy efficiency, PPL recently presented a $2,500 check to Workforce Wayne as an investment in its current year sustainability campaign.  Workforce Wayne is all about building the skills of our people so that we can build our economy. “PPL is investing in Workforce Wayne because it supports the importance of workforce development.  We are very pleased with the Workforce Wayne green careers program and are happy to support such initiatives,” noted Paul Canevari, PPL Regional Community Relations Director. The Green CareerLinking Academy held its first session at PPL’s Lake Wallenpaupack Environmental Learning Center.
