Tannersville, PA — Dagmaris G. Cabezas, a Realtor with WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Acclaim, has been named Community Affairs Coordinator for the Tannersville company. The announcement was made by Executive Vice President Michelle Cappabianca, who explained that the job was created as part of the agency’s Frontline Staff program, which puts sales people into dual roles.
“Dagmaris is the perfect candidate,” Cappabianca said. “She is an expert in community relations and fundraising, with both the background and the desire to perform a needed service.” Cabezas will research and maintain statistics, demographics and information from communities and developments throughout Monroe County. “Up-to-the minute data is essential to our service to the consumer,” Cappabianca added.
The Tobyhanna resident is a member of Community Partners of the Poconos/Latino Task Force of Monroe County and on the board of directors of several community organizations. She received the prestigious Ellen Lurie Award for Outstanding Community Service from the Community Service Society of New York City. Cabezas holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia U. A published writer, her work prior to real estate included grant writer and non-profit management.
