Milford, Pa – John Sweeney has officially begun his real estate career—for the second time– with WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Ruffino Real Estate in Milford. Sweeney was licensed in 2007 and worked briefly with the Donna Ruffino-led team before being called back to New York on an assignment as a private investigator. He says he’s “ready to serve buyers and sellers here in Pike/Wayne Counties and eager to be part of the Weichert group.”
Sweeney completed his real estate training at the Pocono Real Estate Academy in Stroudsburg and was mentored by Realtor Marcia Distasi during his first short term at the Milford agency.
A life-long area resident, Sweeney makes his home in Matamoras where he is active with his church and serves as a fireman with the Westfall Fire Department. He holds two bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg University—one in social science and another in social work/sociology and anthropology.
