A Popular Part of the Wayne County Builders Association Home & Garden Festival!

Northeast PA Children ages 5 through 12 can test their building skills at the 5th Annual Children’s LEGO Contest during the FREE Wayne County Builders Association (WCBA) Home and Garden Festival. The popular LEGO contest is a great opportunity for young people to have some fun and win fantastic prizes!

The 5th annual contest will be held Saturday, April 30 during the two-day WCBA Home and Garden Festival, at Ladore Camp & Conference Center, in Waymart. Contestant sign-in begins Saturday at 1 PM; the contest runs from 1:30 to 2:30 PM.

Two age groups are eligible: 5 to 8 year olds and 9 to 12 year olds. Pre-registration is required. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age category.

“The contest fills up quickly!” says Laurie Lourie, WCBA Executive Director. “Parents are encouraged to pre-register their children early.”

The pre-registration deadline is April 20 or until registration is full; the contest is limited to 30 participants. Forms are available by calling 570-226-4941. Or, parents can pick up pre-registration forms at the Honesdale National Bank, on Main Street in Honesdale; or at Wayne Bank, on Route 6 in Hawley.
