Local Business to Hold Job Fair for Nearly 30 New Positions

Stroudsburg, Monroe County – When Linda and Randy Rice opened their Stroudsburg winery in 2009, it was just the two of them. They had quit their jobs to plant a vineyard and follow a dream. The couple took care of every aspect of the business from planting, to winemaking, sales, and marketing.

Their dream grew faster than they ever imagined. To keep up with the growing demand for local, sustainably made wine, they continually added staff members. The Rices now have a staff of about ten people.

They will soon add many more. In May, the couple will open a brand-new winery building on Walters Road, about two miles from the current location. “We have outgrown our current space and are extremely excited to open a new space that’s more than four times as large,” said Linda. The new winery will also be home to the Frogtown Bistro at Mountain View Vineyard. Combined, the businesses will be adding nearly thirty new jobs.

They will host a job fair at their current location on Neola Road in Stroudsburg to fill those positions on February 22 from 1-2 pm. There are full time and part time positions available. Linda noted, “We have already brought on four excellent management staff members. They are excited to build their new teams and can’t wait to meet all of the interested candidates.”
