This new ScotchBuilt business unit provides equipment rental and operation services for the Level Best Grading System, resulting in lower costs and greater time efficiency for their clients.
Moscow, PA – ScotchBuilt announced today the creation of a new business division of sub-contractor services. This division will offer general contractors equipment rental and staffing for utilization of the Level Best Grading System, a state-of-the-art laser grading technology. This industry leading technology results in completely graded projects within ¼ inch accuracy at a rate of up to 50,000 square feet per day, thereby resulting in efficient materials usage, more precise project estimates, reduced labor time, and greater quality.
“My team enters the project cycle once the sub-grade has been completed,” explains Paul Scotch, owner and president of ScotchBuilt. “Our trained equipment operator then utilizes our Level Best Grading System equipment to quickly and efficiently final grade an entire floor area, leaving it ready for the concrete slab.”
Adds Scotch, “Our field operator also compacts all material placed by the Level Best System.”
Scotch continues, “The Level Best Grading System is known as the best in the business. ScotchBuilt owns the complete laser grading system and the sole responsibility of our new business unit will be the rental and operation of this equipment for our customers.”
The Level Best Grading System uses a constantly rotating laser beacon to detect floor grade variations. This information is then transmitted to a receiver, which further routes the information to the equipment’s hydraulic controls. These controls then automatically raise or lower the grade box in order to meet the construction site specifications.
Ideal clients for ScotchBuilt’s new subcontractor services include those general contractors working on industrial sites, commercial construction sites, warehouses, and parking lots. Those contracting ScotchBuilt for rental and operation of the Level Best Grading System stand to save thousands in materials and time for such projects.
“I am extremely excited to be offering this new line of service,” concludes Scotch. “There isn’t one general contractor out there who can’t benefit from renting this equipment from us. I am looking forward to the benefit we will bring to our peers in the industry and look to this division as a growth sector for ScotchBuilt in the future.”
