Milford, PA – Four years ago, on a cold day in November 2008, members of the staff and sales team of WEICHERT, REALTORS® Ruffino Real Estate traveled from Milford, Pennsylvania, to Morris Plains, New Jersey, to tour the Weichert® campus. Owner/Realtor® Donna Ruffino said she “thought it would be a treat and an education for my agents and staff to see first-hand how the company works by catching everyone on the job.” It was a “milestone moment,” Ruffino reported, in the seven-year history of our company as a Weichert® affiliate.
The Milford agency’s other milestones began as early as its first anniversary, when they were able to report that within the first year, the company was “already no. 2 in the Pike/Wayne MLS in the number of exclusive listings.” She credited the staff and Realtors, as well as a great location and outstanding Weichert® training and support with their effectiveness in the marketplace at that time, “all of which are still true,” she said.
From June 1, 2005, when the office first raised the Weichert banner, through June 1, 2012, the company has held hundreds of open house events and consumer seminars, while logging many outstanding achievements. A number of national honors have been presented to agents by Weichert Real Estate Affiliates. There have been record breaking listing-to-closing statistics to talk about, along with partnerships with local charities to benefit the community, added services to buyers and sellers, and a marked expansion into the rental market.
“Time flies when you’re having fun, and we are,” Ruffino said. “Even during down times and slow market conditions, our team is sunny and enthusiastic, so it doesn’t seem like seven years, more like seven weeks,” she added. “We’re still all wound up and excited to be Weichert.”
Ruffino also said that she is seeking to expand the Weichert Team and welcomes contact from licensed and unlicensed people to come in for a one-on-one career session with her “to find out what Weichert has to offer with regard to a career here in real estate.”
