Stroudsburg, PA — ESSA Bank & Trust announces the addition of Sharon Griffith as CRA Officer and Mortgage Loan Origination Manager. She is responsible for identifying opportunities and needs within the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act assessment areas as well as overseeing the mortgage loan origination staff in the Pocono and Lehigh Valley regions.
With over 30 years of financial experience, Griffith has a background in overseeing consumer and commercial loans, developing deposit and loan business, and managing wealth management relationships. Most recently, she worked as Vice President/Banking Services Advisor for PNC Bank.
Griffith is a graduate of both Northampton County Community College and Federated Tax Service, Inc. She volunteers as a board member and serves as Treasurer for Women’s Resources of Monroe County.
