The Dime Bank Supports the Wayne County Arts Alliance

0

The Dime Bank, a long-time supporter of the arts in our community, recently donated $1,000 to the Wayne County Arts Alliance (WCAA) to support their many creative community activities. The WCAA’s mission is to engage the community through the arts. The Alliance’s 13th Annual Artists’ Studio Tour is coming July 10th, 11th and 12th from 10am – 6pm each day. The headquarters for the tour, located at the Dorflinger factory building on Route 6 in White Mills, will house a sample of the work done by each artist. You can find information along with a Google Map link for studio tour locations on their mobile site atwaynecountyartsalliance.org. Brochures with large maps can be found at The Dime Bank branches as well as at many establishments around Wayne County.

This summer’s WCAA visual public art is Les Poissons (the fish). The large sculptural fish measuring seven feet tall are on display throughout Wayne County. Go ‘fishing’ while traveling about the county this summer and see if you can catch a glimpse! The fish will find permanent homes later on in the year. Stay tuned for more information.
