By choosing to invest in local independent businesses, you not only get personal and quality service, you also help strengthen our local community and economy. The casual encounters you enjoy at neighborhood businesses and public spaces around them build relationships and local cohesiveness. Take advantage of independence in all forms because you may not realize it, but every time you shop the local market or eat in an individually owned restaurant you declare your independence.
